Q. How did you develop an interest in the aviation industry?
I love taking up challenges and just because of this knack of mine, I developed interest in aviation sector. Aviation sector is a place with ever changing environment, which keeps my interests in this profession and makes me feel fully loaded for any ask. Moreover, I also love helping people i.e. bringing smiles on there faces by rendering my hospitality in the best possible way. In short, rendering our guests the best possible services and maintain there satisfaction levels.
Q. Who guided you to join AHA?
An immediate friend of mine guided me to join AHA. As he was already pursuing diploma course from AHA. He guided me the tips and tops of aviation sector in a very pleasant way as a result I joined AHA the very next day.
Q. What's been your experience with AHA?
Initial few days were really enjoying. All together my experience with AHA was GOOD.
Q.What is the name of the organization that you are currently placed with?
FINNAIR (CABIN CREW).
Q. What was the selection procedure?
It was tough followed by couple of rounds and only the best could survive. And touch wood I was one of them.
Q. Any previous job experience before you started your career in aviation?
I Started my professional career with an International Inbound Call Centre.
Q. Please describe your experiences during the first few days of joining your first job, after completing your course?
After completing course from AHA, I joined Singapore Airlines as ground staff. I really enjoyed first few days and believe me there is lots and lots to learn in aviation sector.
Q. What in your assessment are some of the basic skills required for this career?
Hard work, Efficiency, Your hospitality should show up from your way of presentation, Ability to work in team, At times you got to be diplomatic in such a way that it does not hamper guest's interest and companies terms as well. It should be 'Win' 'Win' situation. The most important attribute is your PRESENTATION abilities.
Q. Any message for the trainees at AHA?
Do remember always that SUCCESS is a blend of GOOD FORTUNE, HARD WORK and OPTIMISTIC ATTITUDE. Hope we will meet someday at airports as proud Ahaites... I wish to say something to you in Indian style and that is........
"Zindagi Ki asli udaan abhi baaki hai, aap ke irradon ka imtihaan abhi baaki hai. Abhi to naapi hai muthi bhar zamin, aage saara aasmaan abhi baaki hai..."
